L’Oréal Reshuffles Executive Committee

L’Oréal has announced a sweeping reorganization of its executive committee, appointing several seasoned leaders to new roles as part of a broader strategic shift in its global leadership structure.

David Greenberg has been named chairman of L’Oréal USA, a newly created position that reflects the company’s growing emphasis on the North American market. Greenberg, a 32 year veteran of the French beauty giant, previously served as CEO of L’Oréal USA and president of North American operations. Under his leadership, the U.S. became the group’s top growth driver for three consecutive years.

Succeeding Greenberg as CEO of L’Oréal USA and president of North America is Alexis Perakis-Valat, formerly president of the company’s consumer products division. Perakis-Valat, who joined L’Oréal in 1994, brings extensive international experience from leadership roles in France, Spain, Germany, and China.

Fabrice Megarbane, currently chief global growth officer and former head of L’Oréal China, will step into Perakis-Valat’s previous role as president of consumer products. Megarbane’s successor will be Vianney Derville, currently president of L’Oréal’s European operations. To fill Derville’s position, L’Oréal has appointed Emmanuel Goulin, who currently leads the company’s travel retail division. Eva Yu, president and managing director of L’Oréal Hong Kong, will take over Goulin’s role.
